Question FAT Bob wheels and tires on Super Glide

Has anyone tried, or have you seen it done. I like the look of the Fat Bob, (big front tire) I would like to put tires and wheels that are similar to the Fat Bob on my Super Glide. Any problems that you guys know of other than the dual rotors on the Fat Bob that would cause me headaches.

I like the looks of the fatbobs, but they (or any other stock big twin) are not going to be able to out run a standard superglide. It would probably be best to sell what you have now and just buy one if that's what you want.

I'm not used to such a big front tire/wheel. I hate to say at first I really didn't care for that look but I liked the bike due to handling.

After I've had it a while, I like the big fat tire!

In fact, I think my license plate frame will say "it's a 9 and it's fat"

front wheel is possible if you buy wide glide tripple trees...

the rear might be possible but that depends on what your rear fork (i dont now it in english) alows you to put in... you can change from belt to chain to win some size....

Agree with you guys, the simple thing to do would just buy a fat bob. I test rode a Fat Bob at the local Harley shop during there factory ride thing and loved it and had my heart set on one but then I found this glide at a give away price so I grabbed it. No regrets its a sweet scooter, I just like the look of the fat front tire and the fat bob did seem to ride a little smoother.

Hey Dynakid, did you ever get that fat front tire on you SG? I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Mike
