got my new biltwell helmet in yesterday, and am very pleased, just incase anyone else was contemplating buying one

They sure look nice... but if I'm going to wear a helmet, I'm going to pick one that might help keep my head together.

 

I really like the old school look. I'd buy one.

I don't understand why you would pay good money for a novelty helmet. I wish I would have kept some of my old metalflake 3/4 helmets. My friend wears on of his sometimes and the lining is rotting out. Would'nt trust that one to protect my head either.
