Guys, that was a totally tongue-in-cheek post. I fully expected to get worse mileage with an engine almost TWICE as big in a bike that weighs almost ONE HUNDRED pounds more than my Sporty.

Good mpg's ... wish my milage was in the 40's... I get 36 mpg here in vegas... But I have been known to twist it a bit coming outa 1st gear,,, I love to hear her scream. But I am a gentleman coming off the line, mostly.

You have to remember. 1 mile on a Dyna = 2 on any other bike, so your getting like 88.8 Sporty miles. Just kidding but like others have said, bigger motor and more weight.

I think some people missed the smiley face on the original post hehe.

My Bob gets around 33mpg or so in city riding but 50mpg on the highway.

I havent checked mine in awhile but did serveral times when I first got it, so I would know how far I had when the fuel light came on.

The best I ever got was 50 and that was a easy day of cruising 60-65.

I get 32 on my fat Bob. First tank was 37.5 and everyone there after 32. 130 miles the light comes on and 4 gallons goes in the tank.
