Default tranny oil change

I changed my tranny oil yesterday on my StreetBob. Did as the Service Manual states replaced with 320z of Formula +, checked it and it was above the full mark. The manual said dont overfill but I put in the amount they recommended. What do I do?

I know it will be messy but I would loosen the drain plug and let out how ever much you need.

Or if you have a siphon you can pull a little out.

Make sure you check it HOT. Run the bike a little and let it settle for a few minutes and check it then. Mine gives different readings when cold or sitting upright versus leaning on the jiffy. It needs 32oz.

HD Service writer said that some only take 28ozinstead of 32oz, however not to worry let the excess oil blow out the overflow vent hose. Has anybody heard of this?

This might sound silly but when you checked it was the bike straight up, not leaning.
