My FXD is Denim black, and I powder coated everything gloss black (bars, controls, forks, etc, etc.

Not sure how it would look with vivid black,,I assume this is a gloss black?

Probably pretty good..in my opinion better than chrome.

It'll look really good, I do all my parts in gloss black aswell with my denim paint! Last saint and Sickwithit's bikes are vivid black with gloss black powder & looks bad a$$! JRK's bike looks really good also with alot of gloss black powder & dark paint! Check em out, you'll be a fan.

my bike is vivid black and i have a ton of stuff powdercoated "mirror black" is the color powder i used, and it's an exact match.
I also did a bunch of stuff in wrinkle black too, the wrinkle black that is sold by eastwood is an exact match to harleys wrinkle black.
I did the wrinkle on my outter primary, oil pump cover, trans cover, oil cap, battery band, rear sprocket.
I did mirror black on my levers, forward controls, triple trees, lower fork legs, wheels and my rear suspension springs.

Contact "Roger" at Finaltouchpowdercoating.com ....he'll take care of you

I went to a local guy to have a bunch of stuff powdercoated "gloss" black assuming strongly that it would match the vivid black of my 07 bob... and it didn't.... Everything this guy had done was cloudy... It just wasn't "black" enough to match...I went back to the guy who said he'd recoat everything... waited 3 damn weeks, and when I got the stuff back it was the same... I had him strip everything, and i took the lose telling him that I wouldn't be back again and neither would anyone I know

Since then, I've sent my stuff to Roger... And I couldn't be happier.... the gloss black he uses is a dead on match to Harley's vivid black.

Find a good powdercoater and the match will be excellent. I did quite a bit of gloss black powdercoat on my vivid black bike. Check the sig or my album for more photos.
