Default Looking for a new seat for my Super Glide

Does anyone know if a 2004-2005 Dyna seat will fit an 06 Super Glide? I hate the look of the solo seat with the big pillion. I want a one piece two up seat. I have been looking around on ebay but I'm not sure what seats will work.

The 04/05 seats are shorter than the 06 up seats. It can work but you have to make a longer metal tang to put on the back end.

In my signatire pic, my two-up seat is one from an 07 Super Glide Custom. I like the way it looks and find it pretty comfortable. If you are a shorter rider, the stock set from a Low Rider may fit you better. Sets from the 06 and later Dynas will fit your bike with no mods needed. Some of the Fat Bob seats may be an exception to this.

I run the same stock SG Custom seat that jmpancoast does when I go two up.
Looks decent on the bike and comfort level isn't bad for a stock seat.
The HD Badlander is a good looking seat to but can't comment on the comfort level.
Also more money than it would cost you versus picking up someones stock seat.

I had the stock, 2-up, one piece "ribbed" seat on my 2007 Super Glide Custom when I bought it. It is the worst seat I have ever encountered. Poor padding and chafed my thighs (I'm 6', 210lbs.). I sold it on eBay and good riddance. I have both a Mustang Vintage 2-up seat and a Vintage solo. Wonderful seats.

I like the look of the stock Wideglide seat that I have.

I modded mine buy reshaping it to push me forward and made it thinner up front.

The seat looks like 2 pieces, but it is on a full seat pan with a slot in the middle...which was how I was able to make a mount for the home-made backrest.

My brother has the HD Reach seat with is pretty comfy but could use a little more cushion.

The 06 and newer is slightly different. I went to a two up Sundowner which was comfortable but a little too bulky and thick for my tastes. I bought a one piece two up for an 08 Super Glide Custom on Ebay for $74 and absolutely love it. Comfortable and follows the contour of the bike. Good Luck

I swap a 06 Bob solo for a Lowrider one, then for longer trips I switch to Touring seat.
