Front end bounce
#11
are you bouncing down every road at this speed or is it just a too soft bounce from dips and whatnot in the highway? anyways before buying new springs, change to SE fork oil.

Check your balance and the cheap fixes first. I once had the exact same problem on my car,...it was a bad tire/cord..just thinking aloud here. Try to get the front wheel off the ground and spin it with your hand to see if anything is out of round,.... watch the tire and rim spinning. Thats how I found the bad tire. G/L

front wheel bounce issue solved
Hi, guys! I know that I'm replying to old messages, but the problems might still be there for some of you. Long story short: any irregularity in the wheel reflects itself in the softest suspension. I had this front wheel bounce problem and I totally solved it by checking the rear tire which had a small but problematic uneven spot.

That worked well for me .. Progressive Standard Length Springs and Amsoil 15W which is the same weight as SE .. Before doing this was like a pogo stick sometimes.

I to was struggling w multiple problems w my front end, bought a progressive spring kit n used atf in my forks in place of fork oil n now she rides like a dream. My springs being over 20 yrs old and shot n the lack of correct amount of oil in em was the culprit, maybe not your problem but it corrected a multitude of issues w my 98. I'd start simple n work up... tire out of balance?
