Question rev limiter

Anyone know what rpm the rev limiter on a 07 Dyna would be?. The reason I ask is I was at a mates place the other day and I was giving it some before I left and had it a a constant high rpm and there was this weird rythmic miss, or maybe better put a rpm oscillation, bit hard to describe but my mate said it might be the rev limiter?? Any ideas, dont have a tacho so dont know the exact rpm at the time

I am not sure but I think the rev-limiter comes in at 5,500 RPM

If you still have stock ecm, I think 5500 is correct. I have never hit mine so I do not know for sure. I am still concerned about it coming apart like the old shovels used to do. But so far it is as solid as a rock.

5500 sounds about right to me.

I have the PCIII so I was able to bump it up to 6200 I believe.

The rev limiter is made to keep your motor safe. If you hit it once in a while don't be too concerned.

5500 unless been remapped or you have a tuner that can change the limit...the bike will do as stated when you hit the rev limit.

on the 06 its 5500 stock and 6200 with the remap. Ive hit mine many times. Its a safety feature and shouldnt hurt the bike too much... I hope.
