Fresh off the table after a 103 build, and just before puking oil all over itself yesterday....

 

2012. A few minor mods to set it up the way I like it for riding. Forwards, drags on tall risers. Stage 1. Going to leave it alone until I finish my Street Bob.

 

I wondered where you got that trunk? Was it part of a package with the saddlebags, since they match? I'm with you on the performance and handling of the Dyna over a bigger, heavier touring bike. One of the reasons I got mine, too. Wife wanted a touring bike, but I knew we just couldn't afford that, and I got such a great deal on this '13 Dyna FXDC, I just knew this was the bike God wanted me to have! I'm still working on getting the other items the wife wanted on it, like huge saddlebags, and possibly a trunk, which is why I was interested in yours. I like that it fits on the luggage rack, and doesn't have to replace the passenger backrest. Is it easily removable and easy on?

Your bike is setup like my wife WANTED me to get! Nice looking bike!! I'm just not crazy about the look of the trunk on these bikes.

 

Nice looking bike! Personally, though, I think those black bars and mirrors look a bit out of place with all the rest of it covered in so much chrome. Mind you, that's my personal opinion. I'm also thinking about relocating the front turn signals down on the forks instead of up on the handlebars. Did you move the speedo onto the bars? Is that what I see up there?
