FXD Superglide

I have an 07 FXD, purchased it used a year ago from a dealer. Had 3k miles, V&H Big Radius, the V&H fuel map system, couple other things.
$9900 then. I presume that, with the current economy, you could do better today (on a 07). A used 08 should be in the 9k range.
In California, you have to pay sales tax on a used bike, but you pay on the amount you declare
Pretty tough to justify a new bike.

Love my 08 Superglide, really enjoy the opportunities to build it as I want. It handles great more sport bike than touring but capable of keeping up and then some. With the right seat it is just as comfortable as any bike. I do think in todays economy there will be some great deals if you take the time to shop.

Just bought a 09 FXD, Paid 13,100 before tax and MV fees. Shopped long and hard around my area, Mawalkee mafia willn't budge one penny, rip off $350 surcurity fob, $175 set up besides frieght. Plus MSRP. To top that the closest dealer [ Spities HD]tried to tell me he had to replace the wheels on my trade [ 08 XL] in like new condition as verified by other dealers. Grimmy. Tried lying about the MSRP also
Take it or leave it attitude. Finally bought from the dealer across the river who at least was honest. Brunswick HD.
