Default How to install brake lights in rear turn sigs?

Hey guys,

I want to put on the brake light/running lights in the turn signals, just like the nightster has. Is this able to be done without any major modifications? I know a couple of you have done it, so if anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks fella's!

Cheers,
Adrian

takes about 5 secs to install, all you do is take your seat off find the main wiring harness. disconnect the plug that the instructions tells you to, then plug the device in and your good to go. all it does is piggybacks your wiring harness. very simple, you can do it in the parking lot of the dealer. i think it is a must have on a bike.

my bike came with the brake and turn feature... they do not stay on...wonder if it is broken...probably just a brake turn module instead of run brake turn....real easy to install and uninstall.

Do I have to buy the signals off a nightster? And what device? Is there anything that I need to buy?

No, just buy the run, brake ,turn module from harley. It just plugs into you wiring harness under the seat and thats it. No need to change any thing else. It'll make a big differance since you have your brake and running light on the side of your bike. I was able to get rid of light when I chopped the fender.

I have the module on my bike too. I think its a must. Very easy to install. Just have to take off your seat and plug in. Instructions detail it.
