103" SHO Fat Bob 0-112mph acceleration
A not so great video of my Fat Bob taking about 14 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 112. The rate of acceleration by that speed is slow, but the zero to 100 is pretty decent, especially for an air-cooled V-Twin Cruiser. I will get a top speed reading in the next couple of weeks. The speeds are GPS verified and the Fat Bob is the first motorcycle I have had whose speedometer indicates ACTUAL mph, no error!
The run gets into 5th gear, about 3 seconds of accelerating in 5th (slow accel there)

A thin Nikon digital, the lens does not protrude when turned on. The camera goes behind my facemask inside my helmet. Can easily see over the camera, but it does mash a little against the nose. If/when I take another video, now I know to look down a little more so the camera can see the speedo. For speedos mounted on the bars, the line of sight is just right for the camera when bent down over the tanks. Guess the next one I might try just sitting straight up, and tilting head down a little so the speedo can be seen.

Would have been better for sure to pull closer to the limiter in 4th.
* Benwiggin.... yes, the SHO stands for "super hi output". It is not a moniker I self appointed. Go visit North Texas Harley Davidson and you will see posted on the wall in the service center the charges they impose for various states of hotrodding the big HD engines. The last one they list is "SHO" ..... I asked them what that meant, and they decoded it. Now, granted that "SHO" is not impressive compared to a modern liter bike, or an Italian or Austrian sub-litre V-Twin. But, hey, the Harley is a nostalgic and antiquated pushrod operated, air-cooled V-Twin producing a much wider range of really useful TORQUE !

Mudpuddle.... I used a Nikon Coolpix S60 the other day for the most recent video. On the Ducati, a Nikon S7C was used.
The S60 is more up-to-date than the S7C, but I get better results when using a camera mount on a vibrating MC with the S7C. Probably something to do with image stabilization in the S60.... the image jumps around A LOT with the S7.
I think that made sense.
