Default Winter is here so apart it comes

More to follow when I find some 1-15/16" OD 1-1/4" ID circle shims. Then it should move fairly quickly, knock on wood.

Same here...I'm good for a lot of basic, mundane stuff, but tearing it all the way down frightens me.

Yes and more, front end is moving forward now that I got my spacers machined. I needed spacers to move the bearing races out so the new triple tree's worked correctly. The lower race has a tab that sticks down and fits in a channel in the lower triple that works as the steering stops. I have the triple trees done.
Pics attached showing semi the top race spaced further out and the lower race with tab. Also shown is the triple tree channel for the tab to fit in.

Attached are pics of the tubes, springs and bars mounted. I need to cut the tubes yet to achieve correct geometry but this gives a teaser as to what the front end will look like. The last photos show the rockers and that they use roller bearings instead of the bushing style bearing. I didn't take any up close photos of the springs but they have shocks inside of the springs just a fyi.
The front end is called the Dragon Springer from American Suspension. I think most looking to do a springer or other front end swap will find the spacer behind the races and maybe the race steering stop interesting for future ideas. Least I hope some find this interesting.

Happy Holidays.
