Default Drag Specialties turnsignal mounts install

Ok I am having some issues trying to install these mounts (part number 2020-0347). I am installing on a 08 fxdl but they are cocked out to the side instead of facing straight ahead. I have all of the hardware (mounts, spacers, 4 bolts) but do not know how the hell these things are supposed to mount up on the 49mm fork. Is the triple tree on the lowrider different than other 49mm setups? If any of you guys have any tips I would appreciate it.

your pinch bolts may be angled differantly on the newer bikes trees.. ? do they stick straight out the side or slightly angled back? if there angled those mounts probally arent gonna work without some re-work on them...

I don't believe the JP kit (Drag Specialties) will work on an '08-09. They changed the area around the pinch bolts and the spacer from the kit will not fit in the hole where the pinch bolt is. Also the area around the pinch bolt completely surrounds it now unlike previous years. 07 and earlier the spacer would sit flush on the flat surface followed by the signal bracket. The 07 pic is kinda small but you can see the difference between years. I tried to grind the spacer down to fit the curve but I didn't trust putting the pinch bolt back through there and not keeping the correct torque.

Yeah thanks guys that is what I thought. The package says it will fit the 08 models with 49mm fork but the angle of the pinch bolt makes it impossible on my bike.

Lame indeed, I have the brackets and bolts if anyone is interested. I used the spacers for something else.

What do you want for them? I need to add signals to my Flyrite before I get it registered in Texas.
