Nice job! Did you rattlecan or powdercoat the strut covers?
I'm on a similar track to you...blacking out here and there but leaving chrome or polished aluminum here and there. I'll probably leave my battery band silver...rear turn signals too (but relocated)...........just enough contrast to really make stuff pop.
So far i have used a rattlecan on everything and had good luck... There are defiantly parts that i want to powder coat cause they wouldn't stand up to spray paint.
I blackened some (battery trim, shocks, light covers, risers) and left most (strut covers, forks, trees, pipes) My paint is lighter, but I think the balance is what makes it work. I don't think all black would go on mine.
I like it but would black out the air cleaner cover and the horn and get a headlight brow cover and do that black as well to give the headlight a different shape & look. JMO

A little late to the agreement and I see you're planning on it, but yeah, black them out.
I love that bike!!! If it was available with a tachometer and cast wheels I would have bought one. You have done a wonderful job with it thus far. Is that lepera seat comfortable for rides longer than 100 miles? I am assuming it is lepera from then tag on the seam.
