Fortunately, we have some here at the local dealer. Two of them have been with the dealer for over 20 years and another couple of them have 15+ years with the dealer. They have a great store all around. Really hate to read about all the bad _stealers_ reported here on the forum.

Got some major work done the dealer lately. While detailing the bike for winter layup found the headbolt covers glued on the headbolts with silicone sealant, WTF ! The mech/tech is supposed to be their lead tech. Makes me wonder where this tech is leading the others to.

You should be good to go. According to Harley's website, the 06-08 WGs use the same sliders. All the 06 and later Dynas have 49mm forks.

I heard that 2008 and up, there using metric sized axles, so that would effect slider choices. And I believe the below information from Harley's website is incorrect for the listings under "Chrome Lower Fork Sliders" ...........And their info is correct for the listings under "Chrome Front End Package - Dyna® Models" .......See below in red

Chrome Lower Fork Sliders

Competitively priced, these chrome-plated Lower Fork Sliders give your bike upfront style. To ensure proper fitment and function, these sliders are manufactured from Original Equipment components. Form follows function, with polished, triple chrome-plating and a stamped "Harley-Davidson®" script logo for product identification. Kit includes right and left slider and the bottom axle retainer. '07-later model kits also include chrome drain screws, chrome axle retainer hardware, and oil seals.

This product is available in multiple variations. Be sure to look for the one that fits the specific model and year of your motorcycle.

Chrome Front End Package - Dyna® Models

The front forks on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle set the tone for the bike, and can lead the way to a full-bore custom statement. So start customizing by adding chrome where it will have the most noticeable impact on the overall look of the bike, your front end. This package includes components necessary to completely chrome the front forks and includes some or all of the following (Kit components vary depending on your model): Chrome Fork Sliders, Chrome Fork Axle Retainer Nut Kit, Chrome Fork Slider Drain Screw Kit, Chrome Front Wheel Spacers, Classic Chrome Front Axle Nut Cover Kit, and Chrome Upper Fork Nut Covers. Chrome Front End Package price does not include labor or supplies.

If you got the below 2008 Wide Glide sliders and;
2008 Wide Glide wheel
2008 Wide Glide axle
2008 Wide Glide axle spacers (comes in below kit)
2006 and up Wide Glide triple clamps
3/4" spacers and 3/4" longer then original bolts to mount the fender

Then it should be a simple bolt in. I think I'm going to need that xanax, having a hard time keeping up with all your separate post regarding the same subject.
