Default am i gonna have problems with cycle shacks in california?

why does every set of dyna pipes on there page say don't use on bikes sold in california because of that damn charcoal canister or what?

and can i get around this?

I wouldn't worry about it. Unless California decids to smog test bikes. Just keep your stock pipes in case that ever happens.

I live here in So Cal and unless you are really being out of control and rubbing it in the cops faces, you should be fine.

I'm running V&H Sideshots in CA. No worries. I also pulled the charcoal canister. You don't gain any performance from that but it looks better without it. They don't smog bikes in CA so you have nothing to worry about.

yes do tell about the cannister? do you have to plug the hose's or what?

I'm running cycle shacks and live in CA. No problems so far, but I don't get on it if I see a LEO in earshot.

It has nothing to do with the canister. It's because California bikes have calalyst mufflers. Just do it. I've had no problems with the Cycle Shacks on my Softail.
