HDDyna2006- I wasn't trying to be a smarta$$. Lots of guys have pulled the wrong plug and cant understand why when they try to refill the engine with new oil it won't hold the 3 quarts the book says it holds. You've probably already figured out it only takes 2 1/2 quarts to fill it to the proper level. You can draw some of it out with a basting syringe if you have added too much.If you drill two holes in the end of the filter(one bottom and one top), you can drain almost all the oil out of the filter so it won't spill all over the engine and front motor mount.
