I am thinking about changing my texture black cam, trans and primary covers out for chrome to match the rocker covers and tank badges.
I will then black out the rest of the bike. What do you think, I am on the fence and having trouble visualizing it.
I have done the blacked out bike and want a mix of chrome and black.

Im getting ready to do what you've already done, but my covers will be high gloss black to match the tins, already done the primary and looks good. Chrome on black looks real good. (My opinion) You have to be careful when you bunch chrome pieces together or you lose the point.
Your bike looks great already!

do it!!!! I kept my engine chrome...custom bobbers also do chrome on the engine...Personally I think sandblasting the covers and polishing them would be the coolest for a bobber(wish mine were polished not chrome) but chrome sure is easier to keep shiny. The crossbones rocks polished covers and looks killer.

I had the blacked out nightster and loved the look, but you hit the nail on the head. Too many all blacked out bikes, thats why I fell in love with the 09's motor. I want the bob to be a little different, but I am torn.
