yeah I am sure it will fit. I measured my bike from tube to tube and I have 8" so I knew it would work before I ordered it, however as was previously mentioned, if you look straight down the forks you will notice the rear-most part of the headlight housing actually sits in FRONT of the forks, not by much...maybe 1/32" but this headlight would fit probably any bike.

Yes, it sits WAY out there...which is exactly the "vintage" look I want on my bike.

In fact, it sits so far out that if you were able to compress your forks all the way to the tree, it looks like the headlight would hit the fender!

I'm on it. I'm gonna do one in black with a chrome trim ring.I have the blacked out inverted front end and it's huge, so that light will look perfect with it.

I had a 7" on mine since the spring time last year.
At first not a lot of guys liked it but some did.
I changed the mount on mine to move the headlight further back into the trees.
Here it is on my Street Bob from a 1/4 view and the side view is in my sig line.

yeah, the "vintage" look it kinda what I want to achieve as well. The light and that tank lift really look great together in my opinion.

mopardave, you are gonna rock that headlight man......it would look excellent on a Night Train.

I looked at all the various 7" Harley headlight assemblies on ebay and settled on this one by Custom Chrome. It comes with the mounting block and an E-code H4 headlamp already installed, all for $69.99.

Thanks man. It's gonna have to wait a while. Maybe I can break off a little cash from the tax return. We are so tight right now...between lack of overtime and literally having zero nest egg anymore.......

P.S. I just found this one. I don't know what the going price will be, but if it stays low, it may be a decent deal.

Man, the more I look at it the more I wanna do it. Now I gotta sell something! LOL

Look at Lorrance's ride and mine! I really need that light!

I think I may be drooling.
I am suffering from headlight envy!

Changing to a 7" headlight was one of the first things I planned when my bike was still sitting on the showroom floor. I just figured everyone here would think I was nuts, so I didn't mention it. Then I saw this thread.
