This light assembly just came today. It is top quality! Chrome is on par with Harley. The H4 headlight that comes with it appears to be of good quality as well. Also comes with the complete wiring harness and mounting block, all for $69.99. Can't beat that.

NB: Unless you're mounting one of these 7" assemblies on a Fat Bob you can use the existing mounting block from your 5-3/4" headlight assembly. I'm glad, because on the FXDC the block is chrome and the one that came with this lamp is just unfinished zinc plated steel. (Granted, if this assembly were mounted on the bike it's intended for, you'd never see the block, so that wouldn't be an issue.)

I would appreciate it if you kept all that cold air to yourself. A whole bunch of it leaked on down to us right now. It's 42 degrees right now and feels like 35 with the wind.
I'm still going riding today but I get to use all my leather....

It was about 14 when I got up this morning. Around 20 now. Not supposed to get above freezing and down in the single digits tonight.

Looks much better, I always thought the bike would look better with a single light.

yeah, my block is just zinc plated. Not the nicest look but you really don't see it unless you are looking for it. Would be nice to have a chrome block though.

Since my whole front end is black and the ring on the front of the light is the only part I'm leaving chrome, I'll just paint the mount block black, too.

I am changing my dual headlight and will sell my stock one, get ahold of me and make me an offer.
