Here's a question...since I've got the satin/brushed finish strut covers, would they even need to be scuffed in order to rattlecan em?

I agree with joe, the black mixtures look strange when you have flat with some glossy. Grab one texture or finish and go with it. Just painted my outer primary gloss black looks amazing with with the tins,next week gonna paint tranny and cam covers to balance out both sides will post pics when finished.

I don't know, maybe depending on what your doin. I tried powder coatin my strut covers flat black to go along with my paint, I hated it, so I just got them back gloss black and the contrast is where it's at for this job, looks better than I've seen it look yet. Your outer primary would look great gloss black with your paint, but they are not against eachother. Gloss looks good on gloss, but flat needs to have some contrast.
