Default improved horsepower and RPM ?

when a bike has more horsepower than stock, does the bike then hold a certain speed at less RPMs or with less throttle?

RPM is determined by gearing(final drive sprockets),if you have increased torque in the low to mid range you could change the front or rear sprockets to go faster at the same throttle setting.

ok. with more HP & torque do you then hold the throttle less open to maintain this rpm?

It's possible that a bit less throttle may be needed to hold the same speed depending on the tuning of course.I'm not sure how you could measure this.

since I have added more power to my bike I noticed that I can no longer ride in as high of a gear I once did at virtually no throttle input without getting a heavier vibration than the rest of the range. If I overly richen or lean the mix the vibration lessens. I am thinking that I have to then hold the throttle outside this little zone because I am producing less power than before. I noticed off the bike that if I hold the throttle say 1mm off idle this vibration comes up then add another 1mm and it goes away. Trying to figure out if this vibration that has come up since increasing the performance is possibly due to me never holding the throttle in this position to maintain my speed before.

As stated earlier, rpm's are static an dictated by your gearing. My guess would be that you lost some low end torque with the headers.

With more power, you just get to speed quicker. Quicker is good.
