Sounds like it's an old Screamin Eagle. They used to use K&N filters and stamp the HD logo on it. The new SE are dry.

Should be fine. Just treat it like a K&N.

A good bit of advice might be to just sit back ,ride your bike and look around at options! you dont want to have to be doing / buying and then redoing / buying things again! LOOK at the pictures and then choose what direction YOU want to go,,

I'd planned on doing the pipes, AC, and ECM straight off the bat, but instead I've found myself adding passenger and highway pegs, a 2-up LePera, relocating the rear turn signals (actually kind of a fun project), and waiting on a detach sissy bar setup.

Pipes are next.

the oil kit is available at your dealer. if the bike runs without popping and surging down the road then it has been rejetted and should be fine. +1 on old screaming eagle A/C they used to include K&N filters.

The first thing I did was new pipes and a/c. Had to do the pipes, my friends were messin withme, saying my bike was quieter than a honda. Next mod was the rims. Oh ya, and the tank lift.

The AC cleaner does have a black rubber backing on the backside of it, but you can see the element itself.
