Default Help with removing primary drive pulley

I am having problems getting the nut on the primary drive pulley loose. My inpact wrench can't seem to break it free. Is this nut a right or left hand thread?

I jammed the pulley with a wooden wedge but it dosen't hold very well. Any suggestions??

Thanks

If you have a propane torch then trying heating the nut some to loosen up the thread locker thats on the nut. As stated early, remove drive pulley nut by turning to the right

A drive lock tool is recommended and should make it easier. Jim's and Harley make two types. One is a wedge block with steps. The other is a bar. You need the bar type for the 06 and later models. There are instructions on how to fabricate your own in the forum tech section.

Thanks for the input. I took it to a friend's shop and used a good impact wrench. The nut finally came off and I didn't have to wedge the pulley.

Thank You
