FatBob: Phase #3 - work in progress
It’s only been a few days and I miss my bike already. Just thought I’d share a sneak peak of the work being done. Forks are being upgraded, wheels and triple trees are being powder coated, 5k service is scheduled, and a few more upgrades are planned.
There’s a specific part(s) on special order that I’m really hoping turns up this week; it will hold things up if it doesn’t arrive -- fingers crossed it gets here, cause I really want to ride this weekend…

Yes, planning on powdercoating the band on the battery box, and the chrome strip on the opposite side. Have black aftermarket progressive shocks on the way as well. Coating the turn signal housings. The front end, like it as is.......except..
With the new shocks being 0.6 inch longer than the stock Fat Bob shock, going to put a .6 inch spacer in the front end as well.
More lean angle available. The bike is a fairly capable cornering beast for a cruiser, just want to improve it by getting the pegs a little higher. The ends of the pegs are half ground down already.
