Bye Bye BLACK Bob! WTF am I doing?!
Well, first let me say that I LOVE BLACK & CHROME bikes! Nothing looks meaner!
But, I am tired of the upkeep of the gloss black.
I work nights and my bike sits outside...gets dust on it, then the dew sets in and it looks like crap.
Can't wipe the dew off cause it will scratch so I have to wash it, which means you have to wax it...lather, rinse, repeat!
My last bike was silver with electric blue flames and was pretty clean looking most of the time.
Long story short is that I was bored and surfing Ebay and found a new HD radical paint set for my bike...brand new in the box and less than half price.
Not really my first choice, but it will do for now untill i get bored again!
Now what do I do with my old black stuff? Maybe chop the fender and rattle can everything flat black and sell as a set?
For the new stuff, should I fill the light hole and set it up like I have it now or something different??
Sure will look different than it does now...here's a sample pic not of my bike:

For all those years my job was to spot flaws in paint and correct them...never broke the habit even though it's a good skill to have.
Plus, it's how i talked myself into spending money! Seems I like working on it as much as riding it.

Please list me as "first dibs" on the tank!
I really don't want a black bike sometimes, but I don't like colored tins with a black frame and siver moter. Just too much going on. Other times though, I love having a black bike, and I'm not willing to give up the extra horse power that comes with black tins!
