Yes! Keep it. Going without just sets you up for more cleaning and paint touch-ups. Not riding in the rain is possible, but avoiding every pebble and crap that might get picked up and thrown back at your frame and engine is not. Buddy's ride has no fender and after 3 years his front downtubes and neck are riddled with nicks from small stones. That is one of the drawbacks to the Fat Bobs aggressive tread, Bigger gaps can pick up bigger stones. I usually find one or two wedged in there after each ride.

If you had a laced front wheel and fatter tire I'd say leave it off but I'm just not diggin' it without at this point. Bike looks good with the front fender.

 

I vote for "fender yes".

 

Leave the fender on. If anything, I'd put a "cow catcher" fender on... that's what I'm looking at for my wide glide.
In my opinion there is too much function in a front fender to go without it. The only time I went without was when a fat chick sat on my 72 iron head and bent it. Was a poor boy back then and took me 2 months to get another one.

 

It sucks in the rain. Fender on for me.

 

I don't mind road soup, I have to make less stops that way. Seriously though, I think it looks more aggresive without the fender. I am a Fender No Kinda Guy.
