U-234,
Thanks! Your work is great too! I really like the Shovelhead in your album.

Tell me about your saddlebags. I like the hard bags. What did they come from? Also, what do you think of your Mustang vintage solo? My Corbin is 7 years old and in need of replacement. Are you happy with your Mustang? Is it the 13" or 16" wide seat?

I think you are right... there are many of us out there who love the "other" old-school look.

Cpt, what forwards are you running? When viewed from the side of the bike, where do the line up compared to the frame rails? Two of your pics make it look like the brake pedal is about even with the frame rail.

I'm running adjustable highway pegs and find I like them best when they line up with the frame. Most forwards put the controls in front of the frame - too long a reach for my short legs.

Thanks

Taddeoeg,
I bought the forwards 10 years ago and can't find the receipt BUT I'm fairly sure they are standard chrome Dyna Forward controls. I looked up forward controls on one of my favorite HD dealers with online shopping (Latus HD) and found the part number/Product ID: 49080-06A. It seems to resemble what I put on my Betty. I'll attach some more pictures that show the foward controls better.
For what its worth - I'm 5'9" and they work great for my 32" inseam.- CJ

Thanks, CJ. Unfortunately my 5'9" frame came equipped with 30" inseams. The new pics do make it look like the peg is in line with the frame and the brake pedal just a bit further forward. I will check out that p/n however.

Thanks again,
Tadd
