Here are a few more pics of my setup. The bags are GA Motorcycle Hard Saddle Bags. You can do a search on E-bay for them along with the trunk. (Harley Tour Pac Trunk) The bags came in black, I ordered the trunk primered because I was going to match it to the bike. It was a little cheaper that way too. There are some guys on E-bay that sell the trunk already painted.
The bags come with a crappy mounting system, I just got the Easy Brackets from the start. They worked great. The only issue with the bags when used with the trunk on is that they open from the back and hit the bottom of the trunk. I found that they have enough flex in them that I can pull the lid slightly over to the side while opening and clear the trunk.
I would like to try fitting some FLH type bags on someday to avoid that issue and to gain a little more holding power.
All in all I'm pretty happy with the setup. It allows me to take all my stuff to work and when I get there I can lock up the helmet, gloves, etc... so I don't have to carry it all in. My wife and I took a 4 day trip a few weeks ago and used a duffel type bag on the trunk rack and a tank bag and had plenty of room for our stuff.

07SG,
That looks great!
Did you relocate yor turn signals? Which kit did you use?
I like your setup better than the "bar" style I keep seeing.

TIA,
Del

The relocation kit is here: http://www.greatbikegear.com/product...s/eb-TSDNA.htm
I like the looks of this kit better than the HD one.

Thanks very much for the link and I do too.

Now if you'll indulge me, a couple more questions.
I checked out the Mutazu website, damn they have some cool stuff for way less than you'd expect! Anyway I am trying to compute what kind of bags and moreso how big and shape that I can get away with.
Sooo,
What is the outside dimension of the blinkers (outside face to outside face) and
your inside dim. of the bags (inside face to inside face)
Also how much room between the fender and the bag or how far out do the brackets push the bag out.

I wonder if maybe a set of ghost brackets might push the bags out a bit farther to help with the bags hitting the tourpack. Or maybe it would go the other way.
Just trying to cover my bases before I start ordering things.

Many many thanks in advance,

Del
