If you just want to powdercoat the rim you don't have to re-lace the hub. It's real easy . Some tape and a drill gun with a bit you can have all the nipples off in no time from the inside of the rim. Tape the spokes together, mark the spoke that in front of and behind the valve hole. Remove nipples from back, lift the hub and spokes all at once. Powdercoat rim and put back spokes and hub at once. Tape hold the spokes. All you have to do is true the rim. This does take time. Usually $60 per wheel. Some advice find a dirt bike shop they have to true rims all the time.

Dirt bike shop was half what a harley indy shop charges
