Talking My Blacked Out 2008 Fat Bob with V&H and more...

Work in progress - just had the stage 1 done with Vance and Hines pipes. Didn't like the stock air filter, so went for the black football. Not sure if I'll stick with it - might go for someone else's look who did just a cover over the air filter if I can figure out how to make one.

Black Hot Toppers - can't say enough good things about these. If you have a Fat Bob, I think these are required.

Did flush gas caps today (about 20 minutes to install). Still working on rocker box covers (just the tops) and looking for a different horn I like.

Images click to higher res versions.

By the way, I put up HarleyAlley as a place you can upload images of your Harley. I hope you'll find it useful as others have.

Man that's nice. Can't wait to get my exhaust on. Getting the same ones!!

That air cover looks good too. Don't change it!

Looks great! If you don't mind me suggesting, remove the red and amber reflectors. Really cleans up the look.

Damn is that sharp. I love those pipes. As soon as I get the cash I'm burying it on a pair of those for my FB. Those skull covers are sweet too.

Awesome looking ride.

I've considered removing the reflectors; just havent made that leap yet. Maybe those will go next.

Thanks for the kind words; it's been a fun project.
