I have this Street Bob on the way to my house as I write. It has the Windvest windshield. I will post pictures later when it gets here.

Here is the 14" on my 08. Not sure how tall you are but i'm 5'-9" tall and I am thinking about buying the 16" tall shield for trips and use the 14" around town.

have you tried one?

i don't think any shield "looks" particularly good when compared to stock.
the windvest blocks the wind on your chest. helps a lot on those cool days....

I think it does an excellent job of keeping the wind down on your chest. Before I installed it I felt like I was getting blown off the bike at 70 mph on the highway. Afterwards I found I could easily ride comfortable at that speed. It also keeps the road debris from smacking you in the face while on the highway. I had to mount mine and then raise the shield up one inch to get acceptable results. I would love to try the 16" tall version. I think the extra couple of inches would provide a better level of protection for your face.

Made my own. Cut about 6" off the stock h-d compact shield. Works great. Better vis, less wind buffeting, looks alot better too.
