Default street bob lights question

Should the turn signal lights be on when you turn the key on? or are they turn signal lights only?

FYI, There is a kit you can get from your dealer that will convert the rear turn signals to red/running/stop/turn signals. Cost is about $50 and it takes 15 minutes to install yourself with a phillips screwdriver. I posted it here so search on turn signal conversion. I like being seen at night.

OK what's this load equalizer deal and why do you need it foe LED's? How does it install. I know it's a little off topic but I don't like starting too many posts.

Load equalizer is usually needed if you convert the turn signals to LEDs. It had to do with the amount the small LEDs draw..
