I've been lurking for quite a while, and admiring all the Dynas. I really love the look of the Dyna family of bikes. (I'm sure all of you do also) Since 2001 I've put 41000 miles on two metric bikes. Ran across a 2003 Dyna Defender and couldn't pass it up. It had 2500 miles, Black and is the "Night Train" version with the blacked out engine etc. Really like that look. Put about 300 miles on it yesterday, and I'm going to love this bike. Very nimble. Being the Defender, the shocks are just that, shocks without any covering. Work very well, but look like hell, so if anyone has a pair in good shape taking up space in the garage, I'd be interested in talking about it.
Thanks for having me, and I'll be hanging around for a while if you don't mind.

Welcome to the Forum. I saw a pair of used dyna shocks on ebay today...search "harley davidson". This is a great source of information for your bike. Check the DIY threads too!

Welcome to the forum. I rode the crap out of mine since Thursday and finally pulled her into the garage last night. What a great stress reliever. Nothing like a Dyna.
