Well this just pegged my weird $hit-o-meter.... so I just thumbed through my service manual just to be sure .... not a sign of anything relating to a 'engine to transmission' sync. I was about 99.9% sure, but like I said that was just weird and blatant enough that I had to look it up.... total BS my friend... burn their A$$, call the MOCO.

call me crazy but i have never heard of that before.i'm old school and it may be true for the newer bike's but you can bet i would have a second opion on that one.
