Default Tire Size

vicsponjr-It's just the stock 19" that comes on a Street Bob. It really made a difference in how the bike handled. It no longer follows road grooves or tar snakes. Don't know if that is because of the tire size, tread pattern, or being a radial.

Which radial did you put on your front John? Also, did you go radial on the rear?

Default 130 front

I recently saw a WG with a Heritage 16" with 130 tyre, man it looks the goods. He mentioned this setup would not fit a midglide like my streetbob unless I put a wideglide front end on.

Default Bigger Tire

Keith- It's a Michelin Pilot Road. Yes, I went with the same tire on the rear with a 190/50/17. It's the best handling set of mc tires I've ever had. I scrape the pegs way before the rear starts to give up. To be honest the rear is a sportbike (crotch rocket) tire. The main reason for changing to a radial was to get better mileage. We will see about the mileage...

Not sure, but I think the width would fit between mid glide forks ... you could try getting a 16" rim and putting it on a mid glide hub. It could be something of a pain in the rear to re-lace the spokes, but Joe Knapp could probably give you some tips on how to do it.

I have a 110 x 19 Avon Venom x on my 06 Bob. It measure 119mm accross and fills the gap under the fender. It's the correct fittment for the 2.5" rim.
