Does anyone know what model side plates I would need to use if I would also be attaching my saddlebags (mounted bags that are not detachable)? thanks in advance.

 

Fixed or detachable sideplates?

 

Fixed-I don't think the detachable sideplates are compatible with saddle bags. And I think I found a part number that would work-can anyone confirm this:

Again, this is for an 03 wide glide.

 

I used standard dyna detachable sideplates on my 03 WG with bags. The bags I had were HD and made for the WG with recesses for the relocated turn signals. They required that the signals be moved with or without the detachable sideplates so I just substituted the docking points for the spacers that came with the bags. The signals simply move to the rearmost hole in the fender strut. Worked out great for me.

 

My 03 WG has These side plates 53870-01A and harley saddle bags. Both are quick release. I just mounted the side plates as per the instructions then I took them off and put on my saddle bag mounts (barebacks) and then notched the quick release side plates. If you look, I had to make a spacer for the rear bare back mount to push it out as far as the front one.
