I have the Badlands module, works great and the tech support is good as well.

i have used led's in the past and run a resister to the line that has the constant current and then a line with a smaller resister run on another line... so when the running light is on the heavy resister will allow the light to be a bit dim, then when you hit the brakes the smaller resister ensures that you do not over power the LED but you still can add more power to it.. thus it will brighten up... this is the meathod that i used to add additional lighting to my brothers chopper it works great!
