head to your local bike shop and find a good powdercoater... the durability is miles ahead of any paint...
you can always paint first and if it proves that you like the part that way then powdercoat...
most parts are real inexpensive to get done...

Make friends with your local powdercoater. Also, you can get creative and find black take offs from other models that fit. Bikes with alot of stock black parts that come to mind are the Nightster, Nighttrain, and Cross Bones.
