Has anyone ever put a Low Rider seat on a Wide Glide? I have an 07 Wide Glide and feel like I am up too high on the stock FXDWG seat. I've also noticed after sitting on the FXDL at the dealer that the Low Rider seat has a little more lower back support which is nice. I think the Low Rider seat brings you about an inch closer to the tank and an inch lower

 

I installed the Low Rider seat on my custom (FXDC), and I'm glad I did. I'm 5'8" and it is now much more comfortable. It places you forward and lower - I would guess a little less than an inch in each direction, but it makes a big difference.

I'm not sure you can put a Low Rider seat on a Wide Glide. When looking at aftermarket seats, usually FXDL and FXDWG aredifferent part numbers... so I assume the seats are different.

Just a guess on my part though.

 

Take a look at C&C Seats www.ccseats.com also advertised in HD Forums. I also have a 07 Wide Glide and am looking in to getting the Sport Tour 2 up seat. Looks like it sits low and back.
