Fat Daddy 50 or DNA Mammoth 52 - Wheel Size for Street Bob
Hi All,
I am looking to buy Fat Daddy 50 or DNA Mammoth 52 spoke wheels for 08 Street Bob.
The wheel sizes are:
Front: 21 x 2.15
Rear: 18 x 5.5
However, I am not sure if there are any additional issues that I might encounter when trying to fit these in. Do I need special spacers?
I read somewhere on this forum (can't recall the thread) that 08 Street Bob has a different rear axles. How does this affect the perspective wheel size and what adjustments do I need to make?
Would really appreciate if someone can "shed some light" on these issues (and any other related problems that I failed to mention)
Cheers
Vlad

Place you buy the wheel from should know what you need to fit to your bike. As far as axle/wheel bearings if you have a 2008 they are 25mm front and rear. Personally I think they both look equally well the Fats and the Mammoths.
Oh yeah and your Street bob I believe is a narrow glide front end, so the ones listed as wide glide will not work. Don't go strictly by my word since I am unsure if they are narrow or mid I just know they are not wide like Wide glides and softails.

Call up Phil at Hogpro www.hogpro.com and he should be able to let you know what you need. They sell the fat daddies.

Well when you order you need to make sure they know you need that size bearing and inner spacer. Your original outer spacers may work if the hub width of the new wheel matches your OE wheel. I think you will find if you contact the seller of the wheels they will have info for you. Most do not list on there site fitment etc.
