You can do like WS6 Formula and re-use your 49 mm tubes and sliders. You will need to go with FXDWG wheels and spacers, which allow you to re-use your original brake caliper and rotor, as well. At a minimum you will need to either get the hub from a Wide Glide or you can get spacers from Custom Cycle Engineering or maybe another source.

The FXDWG fork tubes are a little longer due to the increased fork angle ... if you want to go with over-length front end for the chopper effect, it'll give you about another +2 inches.

secondly, did you use the wideglide tubes and sliders as well or the stock ones?

if you did use the standard dyna sliders, i guess i also wonder how the caliper still lines up with the brake rotor...unless the offset is built into the new rim...?
Used the stock tubes and sliders. Yes the caliper still runs line up with the rotor, have a sligt ofset front wheel, but iŽll fix that with a spacer (7mm) between the disc and hub. And ofcourse a 7mm shorter distance on the right side.

Your bike's transformation over the summer has been amazing. I liked it before, but it's really a show-stopper now. Are you still planning to go with the Z-bars?
