I've got a Scorpion Exo-400 (full face). I bought the chin piece insert because the air coming up into it was making my eyes tear...

Yeah, I hear you. I prefer to ride without the shield but, the fullface will have to be a keeper. Personal preference I guess. Thanks for the jab...

Yeah, how 'bout that...? Windshield is great, looks decent too.

I bought the windvest cause I wanted to preserve the bike's looks. That one didn't block much so I sold it. Looked cool, just didn't really do what I had hoped. Bought yours, the standard HD and it blocks more but, not enough really. If I end up with a bigger shield than this, I may just as well buy a touring bike...right?

Helmet buffeting on both. With a full face, and NO windshield at least it's a constant "push". Maybe I'll just get a mustang seat with backrest for support.

By the way, how do you guys do it with the 1/2 helmets? Every time I try that the wind "peels" the helmet off my head...

Thanks for the feedback...(and the shield)

Get the lowers I am telling you they will kill most of that annoying buffeting.

Does HD offer those or did you get those through Memphis...?

HD does not have any for the dyna. Memphis shades does, National cycle I believe, and a few have modified the chrome lowers for the softail and/or touring bikes to fit their dyna. The memphis shades option is the cheapest. They make them in clear, smoke, and several colors.

Any chance they're quick on/off? I would only use them on longer rides but, it would be nice to quick it...

Not as quick as the HD but for occational use they are pretty quick. One allen screw on each bracket needs to be removed and then the bracket splits in two. Takes about 1 min each. Maybe less.

I'd like to know that too. Also, what mounting kit is needed?
