Thinking of buying 09 Street Bob any members own a 09 . I like the look of the 09 just wish they left the case's Black like the 08. I like the 09 rear fender and tail light.

 

Or you can just buy an 08 and cut the stock rear fender like I did. (look at sig. photo). And a member who goes by the name Bosken has a tail light similar to the 09 bobs.. you don't HAVE to get an 09 to get the look..

 

Yep, chop an 08 or wrinkle-black an 09.

 

sorry but IMHO the 09s are hideous.....you'd be better off to hack the rear fender off a standard superglide - way cheaper; still ugly but cheaper

 

I really don't think there's anything "ugly" about the 09 that can't easily be fixed. Remove the tail light and cap the holes, wrinkle coat the motor, and you've basically got an 08 with a chopped fender.

Good things they did as well as the fender was the Nightster turn signal setup, and at least moving the license plate to the bottom of the fender instead of standing up on top of it like an advertising board. Blacking out the wheels was a good move too.

 

i love the rear fender but hate the silver cases. jackyl
