RAIN??? Don't see much of that wet stuff here. But if I was to get caught in the rain ...you for sure want to rinse it off at the least. so your nuts and bolts won't show signs of rust later.

Yeah, I used to live in New Orleans and from May 'til September you get 'pop up' thunderstorms or 'scattered showers' every day for anywhere from 20 min to about an hour, starting from about 1400 to about 1700 (between 2 and 5 PM).

As long as you can stay put, you can avoid getting too wet, but you're likely to hit a few puddles (streets in New Orleans are only 2nd to Boston for worst in the nation!) ....

The good 'ol days!

After riding in the rain, I hang my leathers up next to the dehumidifier in the basement and promise myself that NEXT time I'm going to stop and put on my rain gear (but I never do.)

For the bike? Nothing, really.

I get off n take off my rain gear.
I wash n wax once a week if its not raining on wash day, anything in between happens it happens.
