If you have to change the tire now, and you want the fatter end screaming eagle joby,go for it m8 , the price for the kit is not much more than a tire anyway , my stealer recons its the best mod.
In the UK they will not repair a sidewall .
You guys are lucky in the states , you have great license plates for your back end .
We used to put 7x5 etc here on our bikes , but with revenue earning gatso camera's about now the police give fixed penalty £30 fines out for having non conform plates .
Lucky there is only 1 camera in my town .

Fellow riders,,

I just installed the 180 kit on my 06 35th . The brackets are for the wire harness on the inside of the fender well. The harness gets moved from the center to off center. This is done to protect the wire harness from any damage cuased from bottoming out the suspension.

Just as I thought, you don't need it...LOL

Seriously, I'm looking at my stock setup and cant see any place that this can touch on the sides and plenty of room for 10mm of tire on each side. The center harness reroute does sound like a good (and free to DIY) idea.

Thanks for the response.

Hey fireball,

Thanks for the heads-up,..... I will just buy the tire when it comes time to change out and avoid spending the extra $$$ on the kit then.

Hey,

No problem .I need some help,Iam running the SEII slipons and the Stage 1 air cleaner and download. My bike is still running lean. What kind of performance mods have you's guy's accomplished and what types of problems and solutions have you encountered. I don't want to spend 4 and half on a sert just to straighten out a stage 1 mod. Has any body heard or tried a terry's module?. Thanks for any info .

Well if you don't want to spend the $$$ for the SERT you might as well not look at the Terry either. It's around 5plus bills. Try the Techlusion TFI/DFO on top of the stage 1 download.

Maybe you've got the stage 1 legal download that its meant for stage 1 a/c and stock exhaust... that's why you're a bit lean

There must be a stage 1 race download but I'm not sure what is it for

ciao...
