To be 100% honest with you bro i did not look, i went over to our machine shop here at the airbase and gave the allen head screw to one of our fine machinist and he matched it up with a tap and handed it to me all ready to go, so i took it with me back to where my bike was and ran it through the holes real quick and cleaned em up.The screw i believe is a 3/8ths with course threads for what its worth.

 

Had the same problem yesterday installing these same parts on my SB...my first thought when the bolt went in only half way and stuck was a loud F$%$K! pulled it out cleaned out the hole sprayed in some wd40, prayed, and it went in... tight but all the way...

on another note what a nice ride with these pegs on!

*****-joe did you buy the pegs as a complete kit or was it parts seperate. also was the support brackets chrome or painted black. do you have part #'s Thanks

 

Does anyone know if a set of highway pegs and mounts from a 2006 Dyna lowrider will fit a 2010 FXD Superglide.I think they should..just wanted to make sure.Thanks

 

I had the same problem with mine. Threads were cut, they were just so plugged up with rust and crap.

To answer your questions tjag77, yes, they should fit.

 

Same problem with mine. Used used a vice grip and twisted them in.
