I did the tach mod on my Bob today using these part numbers. Pretty easy install. I followed the instructions that came with the tach except for getting the signal from pin 3 as mentioned. I got power from the fuse block per the instructions. Took a bit over an hour. I did not remove the tank, only unbolted the rear and tilted it up enough to run the wires down the backbone.

First test ride I did a 6k 1-2 shift and lifted the front wheel. Me likey. Previously I shifted by sound and feel and I was obviously shifting early.

Bike is an 09 with Stage 3 103". Mufflers are Khrome Werks.

Cool, I want a tach for Fat Bob...now I have to decide which route to go.
