Softail is a model of HD (not a description for bikes with shocks) and yes, not all bikes are HDs that is why the comment that most bikes are Softails is ridiculous.

Yes since it is a registered trademark of Harley and is a model of their bike then yea it pretty much tells you what a Softail is. Pretty simple when you're not on crack.

Your Street Bob is not a hardtail.
Get it?
Not everything is a MOCO product.

In the real world.
but this is the internets! haha

did anyone notice that one of the bikes has a RB Racing exhaust?

no offense to pig in a blanket. i see both points. the dyna has a sprung suspension as well as a softail. though i did see a dyna with rigid plates in place of the shocks. would that make it a sort of hard tail?

Again, a Softail is a model of HD with hidden rear suspension to emulate a hardtail bike. A Dyna is not a Softail. A Dyna with it's shocks removed is still a Dyna but with a hardtail suspension on back.

Even more simple when we stay in our own little world.

I will admit the spelling Softail, looks like a Harley product.
You and I both know that this isn't a show about Harley's for Harley riders.
But I'm easily as hard-headed as you, and have no problems killing time this way.

The spelling of Softail looks like a Harley product?
That's because it is indeed a Harley product. You crack me up. Pun intended.

Not 'emulate'.
Look like. If it 'emulates' a hardtail, it performs like one.

ARRRRRRGH!!!
You just said it!
It's NOW A Hardtail built out of a Dyna!
LOL!

apples and oranges...

Softail isn't a real word. It's a trademarked name.

Yea, and it's a trademarked HD name. You are indeed stubborn even though you are wrong. I'll let it end here though since I already stated what a Softail is and you don't want to listen.Have fun on your Softail Dyna Low Rider.
